I started crafting The Happily Hooked baskets, with a vision to break the stereotype that Crochet is dated, and to prove that modern / contemporary crochet is not only beautiful, but it can be a functional storage item.


Each piece of my work is handcrafted by myself, in the beautiful North Wales countryside.

I want my baskets to enhance your home and bring you joy whilst adding a little bespoke luxury.

I discovered crochet in a time of my life, when I realised I needed to slow down, and concentrate on my mental well-being, crochet is an act of mindfulness, relaxation and satisfaction.
I have refined my craft through exploring a variety of techniques and by creating my own unique patterns. I am meticulous about my work and every basket I make is handmade with love and care.

I only use high quality eco friendly materials, thus making each of my items a heirloom item.

The Happily Hooked name came to life, with my love of Creative visualisation, and mindfulness.
The great sense of achievement you get by producing something handmade by yourself, is unbeatable. Simply by doing the thing that you love in a sense of methodical calmness.

Sustainability journey

Sustainability is a the heart of my making. I use cords made from out of recycled cotton thread (without water nor toxic chemical) and wound up on a biodegradable paper spools. I then handstitch cork labels which are 100% biodegradable, recyclable and from renewable sources.
