HI IT'S ME, Lesley I'm the one who's behind crafting these gorgeous basket's. WELCOME.

I have the best support network around me, my family, work colleges and fellow market traders who spur me on to continue and pursue my dream.

I want to start off by just thanking you for even being here and reading this about me because it truly means the world to me. This whole thing was a dream of mine and a hobby, that basically found its own legs, and here we are today, I often get imposter syndrome, I really can’t believe I’m following my dream, and I’m so thankful, to everyone of you, who supports me on my mission to create beautiful storage baskets for the home, and how it has all suddenly become a reality.

Balancing my two-day commitment to the NHS alongside running my small business is no small feat. I love to attend Artisan markets and my diary fills up fast. Apart from my bustling schedule, you might find me indulging in my love for photography, experimenting with culinary delights, or at the gym, I’m a very keen fitness enthusiast.

Crafting and artistry have been my passion of mine since a very young age, with my entrepreneurial spirit leading me to sell jewellery at the tender age of 15. Working with my hands has always brought me immense joy.

The inception of The Happily Hooked occurred on a picturesque day, as I sat in my front room surrounded by my lush plants and wicker baskets. My obsession with baskets started at a young age also, but it inspired me, on that particular sunny Saturday afternoon, to craft my very own, thus giving birth to The Happily Hooked.
